Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 29, 2026 · Last updated: July 29, 2026

Harbor Lane ("Harbor Lane," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information when you visit harborlaneseniorconcierge.com (the "Site"), use our planning tools, or communicate with us, and it explains the choices and rights you have. Please read it carefully.

If you provide us with information about someone other than yourself, such as a parent or family member, please make sure you have their permission to share it. We treat information about your family with the same care we treat yours.

Information We Collect

Information you give us directly. When you use our plan builder, start an intake, request our free guide, send a question, or refer a client, we collect what you choose to provide. This may include your name, email address, phone number, city and state, your relationship to the person you're helping, and details about your family's situation, timeline, and the services you're interested in. If you're a professional referring a client, we collect your name, organization, role, contact details, and the client information you share with their permission.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain usage information, such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site you came from, and how you interact with our pages. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies, described below.

Scheduling information. If you book a time with us through our scheduling tool, the scheduling provider collects your name, email, and selected time on our behalf, under its own privacy policy as well as ours.

Communications. We keep records of your communications with us, including emails and form submissions, so we can serve you well and maintain accurate records.

We do not ask for, and you should not submit through the Site, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health records. If a service engagement later requires sensitive information, we collect it directly and handle it under the written agreement for that engagement.

How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide our services, including building your plan, preparing for your consultation, and coordinating the work you hire us to do
  • Respond to your questions and requests, and communicate with you about your plan, your project, or your referral
  • Send you the free guide you requested and, where you have consented, occasional helpful emails, which you can opt out of at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us
  • Operate, improve, and secure the Site, including analytics that help us understand how the Site is used
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect the rights, safety, and property of our clients, our team, and others
  • Complete a business transaction, such as a merger or sale of assets, in which case we will provide notice where required by law

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described here:

  • Service providers. Companies that help us run the Site and our business, such as website hosting, form and database services, scheduling, email delivery, and analytics. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Vendors involved in your project. When you hire us, we share what's needed with the crews and trades we coordinate on your behalf, consistent with the scope you've approved.
  • Professionals you ask us to involve. If you ask us to connect you with a realtor, attorney, daily money manager, or other professional, we share your information with them at your direction, and we tell you plainly about any arrangement we have with them.
  • Legal and safety. When we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, legal process, or a governmental request, or is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property, or to detect and prevent fraud or security issues.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to standard confidentiality protections and any notice required by law.

We may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you, without restriction.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences (for example, whether you've already seen our guide pop-up), and understand Site usage.

Analytics. We use analytics services, which may include Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. These providers use cookies and may collect usage information as described in their own privacy policies. You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics.

Advertising. If we run online advertising, ad platforms may use cookies or similar technologies to measure ad performance or show you relevant ads. Under some state privacy laws, this kind of activity can count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" even when no money changes hands. You can opt out as described in the "Do Not Sell or Share" section below.

Your choices. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through your settings. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Site may not work properly. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through the National Advertising Initiative and Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out pages.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it to serve you, run our business, and meet our legal obligations. In deciding how long to keep information, we consider the nature of our relationship with you, whether you have an active plan or project with us, our legal and record-keeping requirements, and whether you've asked us to delete it. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

How We Protect Information

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information the way we'd want our own family's protected.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:

  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Delete personal information we have collected, subject to legal exceptions
  • Portability, meaning a copy in a usable format
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and of any sale or sharing of personal information
  • Appeal a decision we make about your request, where your state provides that right

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@harborlaneseniorconcierge.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity before acting on a request, respond within the time required by law, and never discriminate against you for exercising your rights. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

Texas residents. Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas residents have the rights listed above, including the right to appeal. If we decline to act on your request, we will explain why and how to appeal; if your appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General.

California residents. California residents have similar rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing, and the right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require offering that limit. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws have comparable rights; use the same contact to exercise them.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, some state laws define "sale" and "sharing" broadly enough to include common website practices such as analytics and ad-related cookies. If we use those technologies, you can opt out any of these ways:

  • Email hello@harborlaneseniorconcierge.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share," and we'll apply your opt-out
  • Use our cookie settings, where available on the Site, to disable non-essential cookies
  • Turn on a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser or browser extension; we honor recognized opt-out preference signals for the browser you're using

Opting out doesn't stop you from seeing ads; it limits the use of your information for targeted advertising.

Children's Privacy

Our Site and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16, and we have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing minors' information. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at hello@harborlaneseniorconcierge.com and we will promptly delete it.

Third-Party Sites

Our Site links to other websites and embeds tools operated by third parties, such as scheduling. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.

International Visitors

The Site is operated from the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means the updated Policy applies.
